  First of all, Dennis B.'s review cannot be of Palatine's Wine Cellar. I have to assume he meant to post regarding the Wine Cellar Outlet in Schaumburg which sells obscure wines at several tiers of low pricing. While that retail store was interesting to browse my first visit, it wasn't for me. The Wine Cellar in Palatine has an extensive selection of wine and more. (Craft beer, etc.) Customers can find reasonably priced bottles to enjoy as well as more expensive, rare wines from around the world. On Thursdays, the bar (yes, there is an adjoining bar and space for private parties), offers themed wine tastings. It is also open on Friday evenings. It's a friendly, cheers-type atmosphere where you can relax, enjoy some wine by the glass, and of course, friendly conversation. I highly recommend stopping by!
